Hello my friends.
It is that day again and I have a card for you using the Color Theory DSP stack as a focal point, and a "spotlight" of the butterfly from the In This World stamp set. I hope you like it.
Here is the sketch for today.....
...and my take on the "instructions."
My card base is Crumb Cake cut at 11 x 4-1/4, scored at 5-1/2. Then I cut a piece of Very Vanilla 5-1/4 x 4 and onto that I adhered a piece of Fresh Fig 5-1/4 x 1-1/2. I chose the Crushed Curry color to place onto that , 5-1/8 x 1-1/4. The other side of the Color Theory DSP has the "stripe" and I used the 2-1/4 " circle punch to pop it out.
The next circle is from the Stitched Shapes Thinlits.
I stamped the Butterfly onto a piece of Very Vanilla and punched it out with the 1-1/4 circle punch to spotlight.
Here we are, all put together. I adhered the burlap and the metallic thread down before using dimensionals on the circles. I fought the urge to add some Fresh Fig to the butterfly on this card. May try to do that on another one.
I stamped off the key from the stamp set and randomly added that to the vanilla. I also sponged the edges with some Crumb Cake to add a vintage feel.
Close up of the butterfly...love this set. Hmmm wonder if it will carry over or not. So fun to stamp with.
And inside I added a sentiment in Fresh Fig and a few more images. This sentiment is from Dragonfly Dreams set.
Just a few embellishments in coordinating colors and it's finished.
