Hi ladies....I know I know it has been a while but life has a way of getting in the way of blogging. My grown daughter was in the hospital for quite awhile so my focus was with her & once she got home...focus on her BEHAVING!!!! herself. She is on the mend and hopefully will put this memory in the far reaches of the mind. .....but not too far , we need to take care of ourselves first!
Nuf said! Onto stamping stuff to share. I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for two years now but have stamped and crafted for a looonnng time! For my Stamp Clubs, I decided to do the folding cards I saw at regionals........(this is just one of the cards....gorgeous!!!)
....and it was a great learning experience. Just because I cut and fold in one way does not mean everyone else does. I think it is good to have at least one workshop that doesn't go perfect to tell us we are human! Well ladies I had two in a row!!!! To those who made the cards for regionals I congratulate you!!!! What looks easy is not necessarily so. I was very happy with my result but I felt bad for the ladies on Sunday and Thursday as the struggle was on!!! Don't know just what happened...wrong cuts or scoring mishaps.... not enough direction...who knows.
But I do know I appreciate everyones patience with me and I will strive to do better next time. Here are the pics of my cards......one day I will figure out what I did wrong in my direction but for now.....what do you think???
So that's it for today folks.....I must get myself ready for a few things happening this month. First of course is the event on Saturday the 14th....Stamping Out Breast Cancer with Sandi and friends...and I am so excited to go to Sequim for a fun filled day on the 21st. AND I have my Stamp Clubs this month so onto new ideas for my fabulous ladies!!! I so appreciate spending time with everyone.
Cheers from Shelagh in Shawnigan.
