Happy Friday everyone!!!!
I have had a very busy time the last week or so. I volunteer at a track event each year called Operation Trackshoe in Victoria BC. It is for the mentally and physically challenged and it is a very rewarding two day experience. The weather cooperated and lots of fun was had by all the participants as well as the many volunteers. It is a great wakeup call for me to realize all my blessings and be thankful for friends and family. If you ever have an opportunity to attend this event or any others like it, don't hesitate.
Well onto my share for today. It is another card from the Papaya Collage Stamp Set. I have used the same techniques and colors and carried on the layering with the butterflies.
I also incorporated a piece of DSP from the Comfort Cafe available now from our new exciting catalogue. It can be found on page 163 and did you notice that Stampin' Up! has put all the coordinating colors right underneath. They really do take care of things for us don't they!!!!
Hard to see , but I did stamp and cut out two more butterflies and placed over the stamped ones with dimensionals. The sentiment is also "popped" up. This is a fast and easy card and I hope you will have fun making it. Don't be afraid to use a sponge with soft suede to achieve that vintage feel.
Now go get your fingers "inky" and stop by again for one more in the series. Please let me know if you need a catalogue or want to book a workshop. It's a great idea for that girl's night out or a birthday party for that special friend. Lots of great hostess goodies and always a door prize.
Cheers from Shelagh in Shawnigan.
