Greetings to all!!!!
It is positively POURING outside so I have been busy in the studio. I have my Sunday Stamp Club tomorrow and have made some cards that are sure to bring thoughts of spring!!! At least we can dream, right. The first one is with Perfect Plum ,Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper.......
Then onto different colors and punched out "window". Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard and Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper.....I really like these colors...so bright and cheery.
The buttons are from the sale-a-bration catalogue and they inspired the colors of the cards. I have to get MORE!!! Never thought I would get so excited about "buttons" but they are so pretty and the colors are so vibrant. The name really does them justice...Ice Cream Parlor!!!
Next we go to Basic Gray...(I know...but just wait and see how it turned out!!!), Tempting Turquoise, and Blueberry Crisp Designer Series Paper.
OK ...who noticed the little strip of " light gray"!!!??? What can I say it just found it's way to the card!!! Sorry gang but I should have used Sahara Sand...it would have contrasted well also. The shiny is from the Crystal Effects...makes it really pop. And here is a picture of all three...
You could change the sentiment and use them for a multitude of occasions.....I hope you like them.
Don't forget if you want to visit me and host a workshop I am very accessible. Just call, email or stop by. I love sharing the wonderful world of Stampin' Up! and we could have alot of fun. Have a wonderful weekend...try to stay dry and remember spring really is just around the corner!!!
Cheers from Shelagh in Shawnigan.
Absolutely love the cards...and the idea for your color inspiration is great! And the gray strip is really nice - it's the new 'in' color everywhere!!!
