Welcome back friends.
I so love this card as it is not perfect and that is part of it's charm. I "roughed " up the edges and sponged with Early Espresso to achieve that sepia look. I got that big word from one of the ladies in my Thursday night Stamp Club. They are so smart and very talented. So here is card #2 of club night.
Now as before this baby is pretty heavy so you would need to put extra layers inside as well. Here we are closer......
I used the sentiment from the Hostess Stamp set Wacky Wishes. You could also put your markers to good use and change up the colors of the words, but I was going for simple. Now if you look really close...closer....closer...I used the spritzer tool and a marker to add a little Cherry Cobbler to the tag. And of course you could make your own with the fabulous spritzers on page 179 of the big catty. Good idea if you were going to make a few of these cards. Don't forget to label it once you do so you can pull it out for others projects.
Now away you go...see what "imperfect card" you can create. And I have one more next time. Then on to something other than Christmas??? or maybe not. We all need a little creative push this time of year. I know I appreciate all the wonderful things I see out there in Blog Land.
Have a wonderful day and go hug someone you love. It will make both of you smile.
Cheers from Shelagh in Shawnigan.
