The Last "Secret"

I so loved playing with the Secret Garden Stamp Set. Flowers are so many different colors and we have alot to choose from in our wonderful color families. Here is the last in this series, I hope you like it.

 I love the way the new embossing folder Honeycomb ( page 6 of the Spring Mini) looks in Pretty in Pink.I used scraps of DSP to add a little something to the leaves and the flowers.

And the Secret continues...

Happy Saturday. Have you noticed that I have switched up days of my blog posts. I really don't want you to get bored so am posting on some different days. The sentiment is from the Bloomin' Marvelous Stamp Set in the Sale-A-Bration catty. I used another in the previous post.  If you would like information on how you can pick up loads of free product, including this set just contact me.

And here is a close up of the baby card...this one went out in the mail but with a parcel , the card is pretty heavy with all the layering. I used some white embossing powder and versamark to pop out the flower shapes and stamped on DSP ( designer series paper ). You can just go crazy with all the different colors and layering the shapes here and there.

Secret Garden

Hello to my friends and I hope you have had a great start to the New Year.

As I mentioned in an earlier post I would be sharing quick and easy cards and then maybe something a little more to the extreme. Well extreme for me, I know others that are amazing artists and put so much into their creations. These were a little out there for me. Took alot longer than the "Circus" ones but I just love them. They make me think of spring and I had a blast creating them for you. So here we go.....

Now don't you just think sunshine, Easter, flowers....warmth!!!! This bundle is a great offering in the new Spring catalogue. For a wood mount set and the Framelits dies use # 131100. You can find it on page 17. I got the layering idea from the beautiful card they made right there. Here is a close up ...I think I need a dimensional intervention!!!???

 This really shows the new embossing folder from page 6 of the "small" book. Now remember when we had to fussy cut out all those flowers....yah for Framelits!!!!

More World Spectacular

Hello my friends. I hope you have been having fun creating your own "Circus" performers!!! I so love the DSP paper World Spectacular # 126897. The colors and all the graphics open up so many worlds. Here are two more for you to ponder over.

I love this air balloon. I have had the experience when I lived in Vernon to go up in a couple of them and what a great ride. They have a winter carnival in February and so the ground was snowy and the skys were bright. My BFF Sandi was a big reason for that fabulous experience....remember when!!????

 And away we go.......the new Chevron Embossing Folder makes the Island Indigo color really pop don't you think. This is another quick and easy card. Just add a few buttons, punch out a sentiment and layer and you have a really nice card for that "Greatest" friend.

Circus Circus!!!!

I hope you all have been having a great start to 2013.

 I feel so much better as the creative juices have been flowing again and I want to share with all of you. I have used a couple of Stamp Sets...Feeling Sentimental # 129627 from the Sale-A-Bration promotion...available to you on January 22nd and Friendly Phrases # 126149 in the big book.

 Now can you figure out the DSP ....World Spectacular and I love it. You could create a card with just the paper. It is filled with so many ideas!!!! Also the Ferris Wheel from "Feeling Sentimental" just begs to go on this paper.

 A small piece from Patio Party # 126916 and some added bits and a bright and cheery card. I have two more to share in the Circus theme. Come on back soon and see what I came up with!!???

More Feeling Sentimental

Happy Friday everyone!!!

Here are more cards using the stamp set Feeling Sentimantal. I have been looking for that masculine edgy set and this one sure can deliver.

 I sent this one to my brother in law...he is a musican so this DSP was just perfect. I changed things up a bit and sent another to my brother...different DSP and just added some different brads and different background color. Here is a picture of this series. I hope you can add this stamp set to your inventory...it has lots of potential. So let me know if you have questions about the Sale-A-Bration promotion.

I love the vintage feel of these cards but I would love to see what could happen with some brights and a little "bling" . Just a teaser as I have changed up things for my next post.....check in soon for a "Spectacular " Series!!!!

Feeling Sentimental

Hello my friends......I have been playing with the stamp set Feeling Sentimental for days now and wanted to share some of what has transpired!! I love this set and you can have it too...starting January 22nd.!!! It is in the Sale-A-Bration fold out and I can show you how to get all the free goodies.

When I saw this paper I knew what I had to do.....they go together just right!!!! The Designer Paper is from Fan Fare # 126918 in the big catty. This sure comes in as a quick and easy card.....amazing what a little DSP can do for any image. Then a little natural ivory, island indigo and more mustard and voila'.

Now the next one highlights the Ferris Wheel....also quick and easy.

With a little piece of Natural Compositon Speciality #126917 and embossing part of the card itself with the Fancy Fan # 127751 put on coordinating colors and away you go.

Now I have  a few more to share so check back.Have been "Feeling Sentimenta" and I spent the last few days editting pictures and composing posts just for you. Was great to have some time to get ahead of things...... I sure appreciate all those people out there that have blogs and share what they do. Thanks for all the inspiration and support!!!

It's a New Year!!

I'm back and with 2013 starting ...it is time to begin again . The time leading up to the holidays was very busy and I have been blessed to have had some down time to recharge and reconnect.
