Hello my friends!!! Are you enjoying your stamping experience? I hope so and I would love to help you venture into new vistas....let me know if I can help you host a party right here in my studio. Lots of ideas to share and loads of fun to be had.
Today I have a card I made for family that were just blessed with their first grandchild. Her name is Elyse and I know she will be well loved and pampered.
I just love pretty in pink and basic gray together!!!! There is alot going on here so I took a closer shot for you to see. As with the previous cards in the "Secret" group I still am over the top with dimensionals and Stampin' Up! make the best. ( I know as in my jaded past before SU past I tried other ones....but no more!!!)
Now all those layers are popped up and the sentiment too!!! So what do you think, would love to hear from you. I so appreciate your comments.... This card was a 5-1/4 x 5-1/4 square so if you use your Simply Scored you can make an envelope to put this baby in. First cut a piece of paper 8-1/2 square and place on the Simply Scored with the diagonal plate. I used a wonderful Daffodil Delight card stock to make it easier for you to see.
Place the tabs at 3-7/8" and score all sides. Turning as you go....
Then fold all scored sides and you will see a little "triangle" this will need to be cut out.
See it up top, all corners will have one .....then fold together and ta da!!!! a great new envelope.
There are lots of sites out there with the dimensions needed to make envelopes in a variety of sizes, I will be sharing more information on subsequent posts... I did some surfing here and there!!!
So have fun and have a great week.... I will be back soon.
Cheers from Shelagh in Shawnigan.
Toooo pretty, Shelagh....love the color combo!
