Sassy Salutations for Stamping and Blogging#78

 Hello my friends.

Hope all is well with you and I bet you are all busy with Christmas card creations.

My share today is fast and easy but it has a great punch of that wonderful Blackberry Bliss color. I used a snowflake designed paper from the Trim the tree paper stack and built on from there. 

 I put a tiny bit of Gold Glimmer paper through the Scalloped Tag Topper and adhered it behind the Brushed Gold Tag. I ran this piece through the Northern Flurry Embossing folder to pull the snowflake design out from the DSP. Here is a closer shot of that. 

 I pulled out a few ribbons but decided on the Blackberry Bliss Stitched Satin and then layered the sentiment in that color as well. Tip for you...these ink pads are very "juicy" so don't push to hard. I also used my heat tool to dry it thouroughly before attaching to the Blackberry. Sure saves alot of frustration!!! 

Inside I also used the Northern Flurry folder for a little interst and stamped the sentiment with the Stamp-A-Ma- Jig...again easy does it.

Stars and Joy for Sketch # 77 Stamping and Blogging

 Happy Wednesday all....I hope all my Canadians friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. And here we are mid October....crazy how fast the time goes. 

Today I used THREE Framelit Dies...Stars, Banners and Wonderful Wreath. I am really loving the stars, can't seem to get enough. So many ways to present them and so many occasions to share them. 

I used some unusual colors for this Christmas offering. Basic black is the card base at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 scored at 4-1/4 and the mats are Whisper White ...5-1/4 x 4 and Cherry Cobbler ..5 x 3-3/4. I used the Stars Framelit to cut out the two star shapes and the started filling in to where I was happy. Gold Glimmer and Silver Glimmer paper gave that shine to the stars and the Joy sentiment.

 Close up you can really see the dimension. And of course I did some special things inside... I think Amy got me going on that. Thanks Amy.What do you think.....

Circles for Stamping and Blogging Sketch #76

 

Hello my friends......I had fun with today's sketch...trying to keep it simple and flat, that is..... We all need ideas for cards to mail out that don't break the bank so I hope you like what I came up with .

This could be a Christmas card or a thank you...what ever the occasion needs. 

 

I love the silver with the Pistachio Pudding color....and the Designer Series paper All is Calm gave me a few circles. 

I used the doiley behind to soften the circles...it adds that delicate edge I think. For a little pop of color I used a circle of Blackberry Bliss behind the sentiment. It is from Chalk Talk. A closer view of the the background that I ran through the Big Shot in the Polka Dots Embossing Folder. 

A few wonderful pearls here and there and a small little ribbon...in that fabulous Blackberry color and I was happy with the result. I put a little something inside to break up the vanilla card stock ...

 

 A tiny line of All is Calm washi tape  and a couple more circles punched out of the DSP All is Calm from the Holiday Catalogue and the card was complete. Here is the sketch we had..

Wondrous Wreath for Stamping and Blogging #75

 

Good day all.....my post today is short as I have been crazy busy helping my daughter move. What a job ! 

But I did get my card done and was doing this post  quite late. So no frills today but I do love this stamp set. Hope you like my rendition for the Sketch Share. 

 

 The card base is Crumb Cake and I matted with Pumpkin and Very Vanilla. The piece on the bottom is Always Artichoke with Tangerine Tango put through the Stylish Stripes embossing folder. I stamped of the wreath on the vanilla and dimensioned the other over top. Of course I used the Wonderful Wreath Framelits die. and here is the sketch....I went a little "outside" but I do have three circular patterns.!!!

 I purposely frayed the end of the ribbon....wanted a rougher edge to it.
