Hello my friends and welcome to the last S & B sketch post of 2014.
This has been so much fun but we will be back in the new year. As with everyone the holiday season is fast approaching and my studio is filled with lots of creative projects for friends and family so focus will be on that till January.
So here is my share for today ....and it is not a Christmas card. I know???!!!
I really love these colors together...Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, and Daffodil Delight. Throw in a little Whisper White and the washi tape and you have a fabulous palette for the flowers from the Bloom with Hope Stamp Set. I used the blendibilites to color the flowers and I have a little story. But first here is a close up.
So the story...I sat down to color...popped open the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities and started. But the medium was dry and had totally come apart. Well I finished with the two colors and then then next day I called head office. This company ROCKS!!!! "We are so sorry...No problem Shelagh we will send out a new set ASAP to you and just keep the others for extras." I received the new set in a few days at not cost to me at all and they were so nice on the phone. Just thought I would share as we all have been somewhere trying to return something and made to feel not quite right about it. Thanks Stampin' Up! for always standing behind your products and taking care of your demonstrators and customers!!! This lowly demo really appreciates it.
Now onto the inside as we all know Amy started something there!!!!
Just a little Washi to pull it all together and we have a fun element for the inside. Can you see the embossing folder I used on the card front, Stylish Stripes.
Now before you head off remember to let me know what you think... and also I want to let you know I am only a click away and we could become great creative friends. Have fun........ Here is the sketch..
