It's Wednesday ......Are you having fun yet. I sure am. Here we go and I hope you are having a wonderful week.
This card started out one way then another and then finally the baby you will see here today. And I know you all understand that...we all have creations that need a certain something and it can take a few tries to get happy. So here it is...
Lots of things happening on this piece. I started with matting the Irresistibly Yours DSP onto the Whisper White, once I placed the washi tape and organza ribbon banners. Then punched out the 2-1/2" circle and overlaid the beautiful butterfly. Did I tell you how much I love this thinlit die. I may have to hide it for awhile so I can use something else but I am hooked!!!
Here is what things look like closer...
The little blue flower is from the Flower Patch set and I stamped it "off" and put it here and there. The other cute little flower also comes from that set but I punched it with the Petite Petals Punch. The Butterfly was made with a piece of Stacked with Love Paper Stack. This is a great stack of papers so if you don't have it.....well you know. Now onto the sentiment inside....it was from the Flower Patch set as well.
The washi tape added just the right amount of colour ..this stuff is so much fun to work with. I have this card in mind for a friend who is having a birthday soon. There seems to be a few of us CELEBRATING the 60 !!!
Get away weekend planned soon. I may even share some of it with you. ???
Here is the sketch that started this journey...
And for your shopping pleasure....easy links right to my online store. Have fun and thanks for coming by.
