Hello to all.....what a month it has been. Busy inside and out. Hope all is well with you.
Today I had some fun embossing and colouring. I pulled out the Hostess set "Best Thoughts" and started to play. Here is the result, I hope you like my take on todays sketch.
I was going for a dramatic feel, so I used Basic Black for the first mat and the first flower. Then Elegant Eggplant for the second flower. These two I embossed in white and the third was on Whisper White embossed with black. This is all layered on a Perfect Plum card stock to soften the edges.
Here is a closer view.....shows the dimensioned flowers a little better.
The last flower was colored with my aqua painter and some re- inkers on the inside of the ink pads. It's edges turned up a bit due to the water and I loved the result. It looks more like a real flower.
The sentiment came from the new set You've Got This. Really like this font.. So now here are the links of the products I used today.... should you want to shop , this is really easy. Just click on the item and it takes you right to my online store. But if you need a hand with anything please let me know.
And the wonderful sketch we have for today....don't forget to play along. The link is right under the sketch ...
Now off to the rest of the world...check out what all these talented artists have for you today. Have fun and remember we love to hear from you.
