It's New Years Eve!!!
I hope you have some fun plans with a special someone, whatever it may be. I am wayyyyy past the party thing so I think a movie may be the right fit.
Today we have a colour challenge and believe me it was just that for me. I put in an order and was hoping the Blushing Bride card stock I needed would be here but it is the holiday season, and things do take a little longer. SOOOOO ...I used a tiny piece I had and then put ink to paper to achieve a Blushing Bride colour background.
A little creative license and a Real Red button and I think we have it...
Here are the colours... for today.
And away we go...here is my creation for you.
You can see the direct to paper ink I used on a piece of Very Vanilla to play along.
I know ....no Very Vanilla in the dots above but ???
The Soft Suede card was embossed with the Woodland Textured Folder and then the layering began.
I stamped the images from Serene Silhouettes with Soft Suede and then attached to a piece of Real Red. The edges of the Very Vanilla mat is sponged with Blushing Bride, and there is that little piece of Blushing Bride paper I found off set on the left.
I made sure to sponge the inside panel with the Real Red ink as well to add some extra colour.
....and then inside I stamped the sprigs with Blushing Bride and the sentiment in Real Red.
I hope you have a great New Years and that 2016 is filled with all the hopes and wishes you have.
Off you go now to check out the rest of the hop, have fun.
Here are the links for everyone and of course the button to go right onto to Mary's site.
Now I have added the links for all the goodies I used today....Let me know if I can be any help with ordering ......
Cheers from...

This is so pretty Shelagh! Bummer that your card stock didn't arrive in time, but your project turned out perfectly so I don't think that you needed it! :)
