Happy Thursday to all....
Today we have a colour challenge to help in the design plan. This card is another in the masculine set we did for our Stamp Club last week. We had so much fun and I can't believe it is done for the year.
Here are the colours our Yoda's have chosen for us.....(yes I know Amy...you too had a hand in some of this!!! ) .
So here is what I came away with.....
I have layered the black and glossy gold onto a Whisper White Card base. The art piece I gold heat embossed and then used a sponge to "antique" it up.
I love the In Color Hello Honey , it can become a wonderful warm gold . I used a little of it on the sentiment piece as well as on the Whisper White edges.
The gold twine gives us a little bit of the sea I hope. And the gold buttons are reminiscent of a sailors P Jacket. Now go ahead and Goggle that one.
Here we can see the sponging on the edges and I "swirled it" around the card.
I think the girls had fun with this card. It was what my grandson Dylan called " Gender non specific!!"
Now off to see what the rest of the team has for you today. I so enjoy and am inspired each week. I hope you are too.
Remember you can click on the button to go to the next blog but if you get lost each name has it's own link. Have fun!!
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here.
Here's the button.....
And for your shopping ease....these are the products I had fun with today....
Cheers from.....
oh so pretty, I would have never thought to use that stamp set, gorgeous card and perfect for the men in our lives. I'm going to have to remember this combo for the future.

Awesome card Shelagh! Love what you've done with "Yoda's" colors. ;) Fantastic layout and design for a masculine card!

I really love this-it is classic and stunning! The way you used the Hello Honey around the edges just adds so much dimension, too. So nice!
