Masking for Totally Techniques

 

Merry Christmas....oh my. Where did the time go.

 

Here is my wish for you all.......love, peace and good fortune.  Have fun today with family and take the time to stop and really count your blessing as we all have so many. 

Todays technique  is masking. This can be a lot of different things but for my share I used the tape on the ink pad for the fun of inky fingers!!! I hope you like it and have some fun for yourself.

I made the background on Whisper White and masked all the stripes with Smoky Slate, Hello Honey and Mint Macaron. Then covered it up with a fabulous piece of vellum from the Winter Wonderland stack.

 

 

 I was very happy how this turned out. I think it looks pretty festive.

 

Here is a closer view...shows the subtle, wavy lines of the stripes that you get using the masking tape.
