It's Thursday already!!!
My how this month is flying by. Busy times and that means that spring is getting even closer. I know ....slow down and count the snowflakes.
Today I have a card that I made for a friend that recently lost her mother. These are always so hard to make but it sure makes us think of those we still have with us and that is a special thing.
So here we are....simple but pretty and I hope it helps just a little.
Here we have the sketch for this week.
I stamped this beautiful greenery from the Flowering Fields stamp set, onto a Very Vanilla mat that I adhered to a piece of Old Olive.
Some of the plants were in Always Artichoke , some in Pear Pizzaza and then the Corn Flower I stamped with Night of Navy on top and Always Artichoke on the leaves. This is one of the beautiful sets that you can receive from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue when you purchase $60.00 of product. I love it....very stylish and versatile .
Then a pretty piece of the Sahara Sand Lace trim before adding the sentiment. I made the flowers from the Petal Punch and snuck in some scraps I found to layer on top. Then a beautiful Blossom from the In Color Accents, a Candy Dot and the flowers were done.
The circle scallop is cut from the Circle Card Thinlits die and then the other circles are from the 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" punches.
The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set. One for the outside of the card and the other goes inside.......
Here is a picture of inside with the other part of the sentiment.
This is the list of the fabulous talent to hop to should you get lost.....
And click on the button to get to the next blog.
And here are the links for the products I used today......
Cheers from ....
This is beautiful, Shelagh. Great coloring job on the flowers!! :)
