Happy Friday to all and the end of January!! We are getting so much closer to longer days and warmer temperatures. I have nothing to complain about as this winter has been very decent on my island.
I had alot of fun with this technique, so much that I shared with my Stamp Club ladies. We took over my kitchen island and had a messy good time. So here is the card I have for you today and then I will share the other two we made at a later post.
These colors were soooo rich looking. We used the reinkers for Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango and a touch of Island Indigo. Spray some shaving foam on a paper plate and swirl away. Don't mix it up too much as you want an uneven colour finish. Then place your art piece right on top, squish it down and then wipe it all off. Set aside to dry and now you have a fabulous looking background to stamp on.
The card base is Very Vanilla 5-1/2 x 11, scored at 4-1/4.
The next piece is Cajun Craze cut at 5-1/4 x 4, then Island Indigo is 5-1/8 x 3-3/4.
The art piece is Very Vanilla and it is 4-7/8 x 3-1/2.
This closer shot shows the swirls quite well. The Sentiment( from Watercolor Wings) was stamped on a Extra Large oval that I punched out. That was layered onto a oval in Crushed Curry then attached to the next oval in Island Indigo.
I will be posting the rest of the Foamy treasures soon and a couple of pictures of the kitchen fun. But for now please check out the rest of these talented ladies offerings!
