It is almost the end of February and another technique challenge. Crazy how fast time goes by.....
Now I have to admit that I have never done this technique before so I overdid it a couple of times before I was happy. One I made just looked like mud...so don't try to use to many colors.
So here we are..... I think it turned out pretty good.
I rolled half the brayer in the Mint Macaron and then the other half in the Mossy Meadow. TIP...roll in the lighter color first , not the other way around. You don't want to transfer Mossy Meadow into the Mint Macaron stamp pad.
Then I "bounced" the brayer around the card keeping the lighter color to the inner circle.
There are few tutorials out there....but I would love to share this with you right here in my studio.
Once I was happy with the design I decided to jazz it up with some gold embossing and I LOVE the Flowering Flourishes stamp set. Make sure the ink is all dry before you versaMark the images and then I did one area at a time.
Here we can see the embossing close up . I used a very small sentiment as I did not want to cover up the art piece. Then just a few dots with a marker on the piece , mat it with gold and that was all!!!
Please let me know if you want to come and play. This was alot of fun and I would love to share it with you.
Now off to the rest of the talent. Have fun.

Fantastic card :-) such a neat idea adding the 2 colours to the brayer first, never thought of doing that.

Love how you added the pop of gold embossing - made the card so elegant! Great tip about starting light and going dark. So pretty!

Love your card girlfriend, and reading your comments I had the same problem, using too many colors really does muddy it up quickly doesn't it, haha.....
