The end of March..... and Easter is right around the corner.
So the first card I did turned out quite well and then the light went on. I really thought I had removed all the retired goodies, but no. This one snuck in and after all the dust settled from the "blue smoke" , I realized I had to come up with another watercoloured beauty. I will share the retired one at the end of my post.
Here is my second creation!!
Went to the shelf to pick a stamp set and at this point wanted something totally different. I hoped the flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set would colour well. So out came Watermelon Wonder, Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride.
The card base is Very Vanilla and I matted Mossy Meadow . The art piece of course is on watercolour paper, stamped with Versamark and embossed black. I matted this onto a piece of Watermelon Wonder. Once the colouring was done I used one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge to "splat" some more Melon colour. The ribbon is the Watermelon Wonder 1" Dotted Lace. It is so pretty.
I stamped the sentiment with Archival Black then layered it before attaching to the card front.
Now here is the first one I made.....love this set and will always keep it but it now has a big "R" on it. Remember it is not available unless you have a "source" out there in blog land.
That's right..I even did the inside. Indescribable Gift is the name. I really was in a time warp.
Now off you go to the rest of the hop. I know you are about to see some beautiful creations. I wish you and yours a very Happy Easter.
And here are the links for you also.... You'll see Sandi is back!!!
