Happy Thursday to all.
This last week has flown by again and here we go to another hop. Today we had a sketch to play with , take a look.
I made a card today that is a different size. I wanted to really showcase the length of the sketch, so it is a piece of Very Vanilla 8" x 7", scored at 4". Not sure where this came from but I like the "tallness".
Just a little peek and then the real deal....
I used the White Jute Ribbon that is retiring as well as the DSP Going Places ...that is already gone!!! (UGH). This time of year is very challenging for we demos but I know lots of you still have the goodies to use.
Crushed Curry and Basic Black added the strips down the card. I swiped the sentiment pieces over the ink pad to achieve the colour on them.
A few sequins to break things up and here is the inside.....
Yes , this was made into a sympathy card. My dear friend Margaret lost her Dad a short time ago so this is for her. These are hard to make but I wanted something far from the frills and flowers for her.
Now off you go...I just know that all these wonderful ladies have some fabulous cards to share. Have fun.
And the rest of the team.....
Shelagh Freemantle this is me
Cheers from ......

I know your friend will appreciate this card-I love how you swiped the sentiment pieces and the way you did the inside sentiment! The jute ribbon really ties it all together, too!
