We have a colour challenge for you today!!! A fast post today folks....had my granddaughter and her friend here for four days !!! So much fun but I can't keep up with the millenials. Twenty three was a while ago.....
Here are the gorgeous colours.....
I went over the "border" for you today........ What do you think?
I used the soon to be retiring :( stamp set Bordering Blooms. First I stamped the Rose Red flower, then filled in with the Garden Green Leaf pattern. Then I added to the center of the flowers with more Garden Green. It really made an interesting background.
Because it is so "full" I kept the embellishments to the minimum. I wrapped some linen thread a few times, made a bow and the added the candy dots.
The sentiment was layered onto a piece of Rose Red and Garden Green.
I adhered the "Thanks " with multipurpose glue and rounded the corners.
I hope you like this card....was fun working with the lines of borders.....will be sorry to see it go, but will be looking for another border stamp. Kinda like the result.
Now off to see what Mary has in store for you today.
And here are the links for each of the artists below.....
Cheers from....
wow, what a great way to stamp your own background, I'm going to miss that stamp set too.
