Happy Thursday to all!!!
We have a sketch for you today and I had some fun with the new embossing folder Hexagon Dynamic from the Occasion Catty!!!
So here is the sketch....
And here is my creation for today's hop. I hope you like it. I made it just for you all!!!
I wentWAYYYYY out of the box with my colour choices today. So Saffron for the card base, then a layer of Island Indigo followed by Smoky Slate and Basic Gray. Those I put through the new embossing folder. Now I found a piece of the Foil Silver and out came the Thinlits of the Detailed Dragonfly Dreams and Sunshine Wishes. Then I pulled out a piece of Bermuda Bay and cut again.
I know...crazy right!
I have sponged the white circle with So Saffron and Island Indigo and attached to the square piece.
I adhered the Dragonfly with Multipurpose glue....( easy does it ) then popped it on the card using a dimensional. A few wonderful circles from the new Metallic Enamel Shapes ..( page 177 ) and a shiny rhinestone or two and it was done.
This shows the dimension of the dragonfly from the side.
Now off you go....check out the rest of the wonderful cards the ladies have for you today. Have fun.... I hope this has given you some inspiration !!
Cheers from....
Love your colors and the dragonfly really stands out beautifully!
