It's the end of February already, or should I say finally. I usually don't like time to fly but....
......this month has been very trying as we had major weather. At least what we consider major on my island. The snow and freezing rain reeked havoc up and down but I consider myself lucky to have had time to play. Many people were without power for almost two days.
I am looking forward to spring and this technique challenge , reflection, has me doing just that. I hope you enjoy our creations.
With the wonderful colours of Peekaboo Peach and Mint Macaron I started to play.
Out came the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and I inked up the "swirl" and stamped it once at the top of a Whisper White piece of card stock.
To achieve the reflection below I stamped the image onto my Stamp-a-ma-jig plastic and turned it over. Placing it onto the art piece , lining it up to mirror the one above, I rubbed the ink onto the paper. Sounds confusing but it really isn't , don't over think.
To add the sentiment I used the wonderful Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. There was a real run on these puppies so if you want a set don't delay.
I then picked out the leaves from the stamp set and did the reflection inside. Here's a peek for you.
This was a fast and fun card to make, now off you go to check out the rest of the world. Have fun.
