Hello my friends.
We have a new month and I have a load of celebrations coming up. So I will be busy creating new cards for birthdays and anniversaries. So here we go with a sketch ....
I sure hope that these ideas help you with your creative juices. Having a plan to start is a great way to get going. Then I usually pull out different colours of card stock even before I choose a stamp set. Weird right!!??
So it started with Pool Party and Island Indigo. Then a piece of DSP from the Serene Scenery Paper stack, ( I love these babies) , and then I spied a little Tip Top Taupe in the dots so the layers began.
The Stylish Stems Framelits are so much fun , you can build a wonderful scene with them. Of course I used the Stamp Set Special Reason for the one flower and the leaves. This bundle is on page 42 of the Occasions catalogue. I love it .
So what do you think of this colour combo. I popped in a touch of Pear Pizzazz for the leaves and a couple of embellishments. Kinda out there but I think it works.
The close up shows the "cut out" that certainly could be used for a wonderful shaker.
Now off the rest of the team, have a good time and let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
... and the links for each blog are just a click away.
Here are the goodies I used today.
AND A BIGGGG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BFF SANDI...LOVE YOU GIRLFRIEND!!!
Cheers from....
