Here we go folks.
It's the middle of March and I am thinking of spring flowers so today I pulled out a stamp set that I could build on.
The Wondrous Wreath is not just for the holidays, I added an array of flowers and leaves , layered on the wreath that I cut out with the the Framelits Dies. The flowers and leaves came from this set as well as the Succulent Framelits that are all over the internet. But I used some different colours, Watermelon Wonder and Bermuda Bay.
Wowzers, right....here is the sketch for today.
I love that we can use our stamp sets all year long, I wonder what other "Holiday" themed ones we could pull out in a different season. Will have to check that out.
I tucked a piece of the wreath behind the Watermelon Wonder and then placed the other one on the front of the card. I dry fit all the flowers and leaves before I adhered until I was happy with the shape.
The banner is offset and a little funky on purpose. I wanted a another shape so I cut it by hand. Then I added a few pearls here and there.
But of course I just had to stamp some fun inside...why not right!
This picture really shows the layering that went on, and on. I can't imagine how much work goes into those fabulous Succulent projects. This one took long enough.
Now off you go... check out Mary's card for today. And all the other links are there for you also. Have fun.
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here.
And all the fabulous products I had fun with today.....
Have a wonderful, wondrous day.
Cheers from....
