Happy Thursday my friends.
Today we are back to a sketch....this really helps with the creation, start with the basics and you can go from there. Here is the sketch....
And for my card for today , I chose to use some colours almost the same as the sketch. I don't think I have done that before but I think this worked out ok.
The card base is Basic Gray then I pulled out some Island Indigo and Soft Sky. At banner of Smokey Slate , the art piece in Whisper White and a "flash" of silver with a doily.
One of my favourite stamp sets is Work of Art, I sure hope is gets carried over to the new catalogue. Do you have a favourite? You see I said "one" of mine. There are few I couldn't be without..
I stayed pretty true to the sketch this week. Some times it just goes together well.
The "splotches" are from the Swirly Bird stamp set but I know the Gorgeous Grunge has some fun shapes as well.
And to finish off the inside I cut the bigger silver doily and used a sentiment from Butterfly Basics.
Here is the inside picture for you.
Now off to the rest of the Hop.....Thanks for visiting, I always appreciate your comments and hope I help with some inspiration.
Have fun.

Ah, beautiful! I like everything about it and the inside is a big bonus! This could be lots of sentiments and still be fun!

Love your splotches of color on this one and the doilies are a cool addition, especially on the inside. Makes a neat surprise for the sentiment inside!

Lovely! Now, this is a card I can CASE because I have everything except the stamp set. I do believe Work of Art is carrying over. SU wants to give me another chance!
