I know...end of April!!! Wow.
I love this technique..."watercolour spritz"..... has been a while and there a few ways to achieve this look. I decided to use the Marvelous Markers and the acrylic handles for my creation. Such an easy , fun way to showcase a fabulous stamp set.
I resisted the Beautiful You for some time but now I LOVE IT. I am going to make this card in a bunch of colours and I think it would make a fabulous gift for someone special. Now here we go....
These ladies are so classy looking and , really folks you can do this.
I took a E acrylic handle and rubbed some Melon Mambo, Sweet Sugarplum, and Pacific Point back and forth. Then I "spritzed " some water over the colours. Turn it over and "stamp" onto a piece of cardstock. And Voila!!!! You can play with the movement a bit and then I let it dry. If you are anxious, use the heat tool to speed things along.
Once dry I stamped the lovely lady with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the sentiment.
A ribbon of White Organza around the bottom and a few embellishments to add some bling, sequins and rhinestones. I put a couple of those on the waist of our beauty.
Now to the inside, I used the same technique ( smaller D handle ) to add a bit of colour to the inside panel.
This card came together pretty fast folks, so give it a try.
Now off to the rest of the hop......have fun.
