Here we go...close to the end of May.
I hope everyone has had a great month and looking forward to June! Yah....new catalogue. Can you say excited!!
Today's technique challenge is making paper embellishments. I pulled out a piece of paper that I found in my scraps. I had used the shaving creme technique at a class a while ago, and I punched out a butterfly and cut out a dragonfly with the framelits. So I layered this pretty piece onto a mat in black and then that onto a card in Calypso Coral.
What do you think?
I really love the black in behind this ...almost a shadow effect. Then I pulled from the colours in the background and punched out two butterflies. Sad to see that this punch will be retiring.
The sentiment is from the Beautiful You stamp set. I have a major attachment for these stamps. Love them all.
So in keeping with the theme, the background is a paper embellishment and the butterflies as well.
Just a few pearls and we had success. I hope you like it.
Now off to the rest of the hop...have fun and thanks for stopping by. You can click on each name for their hop or use the button to go forward or back.
