Welcome to Thursday folks!!!
Today is sketch day and I am playing with one of the new Hostess Sets. We demonstrators are so lucky, as we have access to the new goodies before all goes live.
I really love this set, Background Bits, lots to create with and I can help you get it with a class or party. Just let me know and I can share the details. So here we go...
The sketch....
And my creation...
I am in LOVE with the new In Colors!!! Especially the Lemon Lime Twist. It goes with so many things and really well with the Basic Gray and Smokey Slate. Pretty simple and fast card to put together. I stamped the long image twice in the Lemon Lime onto the piece of Whisper White 3 x 4-3/4. That gave me the start, then I matted that onto the Smokey Slate, 3-1/4 x 5, and then onto the Lemon Lime Twist 4 x 5-1/4 .
The card itself is Basic Gray 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4.
I cut out two circles from the Stitched Shapes framelits , one in Fresh Fig In Color and the smaller in Whisper White. The flowers on that are in Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.
Just a fun sentiment and a few embellishments and we are fini!! Oh but wait, I think I did something inside .Let's peek.
I really love these colours together, don't you.
Just a bit of the flowers and the "Thank You" to finish things up.
Noe off to the rest of the hop, have fun and I hope I inspired you today.
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here..

So pretty Shelagh! Lemon Lime Twist is an awesome color, isn't it??? It's probably my favorite one too and I'd have never guessed that by looking at it in the catalog. :) Great take on the sketch!
