Crafting Forever for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

It's that day again !! I think the best one of the week...ok maybe Friday is but ???

Hope your week has been fun and productive. It has been hot here, long time coming so I have been trying my best to enjoy it.

Today we have the colour challenge, and I love these new ones.

Here it is....

I pulled out the Crafting Forever Stamp Set and inked it up. Also, did some colouring and glossy paper "smooshing" . We had great fun at our monthly club with the glossy paper and re-inkers. I will post some pictures for you soon.

Here we go for today...

Can you say FUSSY CUT..... I would love a Framelit for this set and I bet I am not the only one!! I played with inks pads and aqua painters on glossy paper for the background. Free hand creation, yah!

Then I stamped the brushes with Memento ink onto watercolor paper so I could add the Berry Burst and the Lemon Lime Twist. I am so in love with the new In Colors!!

The card base is Whisper White , then Berry Blast. I added the touches of Lemon Lime Twist with a strip of ribbon and a mat behind the art piece.

The sentiment is stamped in Berry Blast then I used a sponge dauber to add the dimension of the Lemon Lime around the 1-3/4 " circle. Just a few embellishments of pearls, rhinstones and a fun little bow to finish up.

But of course I had to play inside as well.......this set has the best "words".....

I am so happy with the way this turned out....and easy and fun. You must give this a try.

Fresh Florals for Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday my friends.

Today is sketch week and this card is a "Q&S" one. OK...quick and simple.

I used some of the new In Colors and the wonderful ribbons and accessories. So here we go.....

And here is the card front.

The DSP Fresh Floral is so beautiful, double sided designs and can be used for an easy background, as I did. Then just add on a few elements and you have a stunning card to share. I hope you give it a try.

The banner under the circle is cut from the 1/2" Finely Woven ribbon in the Tranquil Tide In Color.

Now don't you love the little bow in the Lemon Lime Twist. These come in a package of 20 in all the new colors. The banners were punched using the Banner Triple punch, so easy and quick.

I didn't have the enamel dots in the exact color but I think these go pretty good. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, love this set. Now lets peek inside.

The sentiment here is from the Colorful Season Stamp Set. It so cool to grab different sayings and pull them all together. I just punched out one circle in gold and one in the DSP then mad a banner to place over .

High Tide for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Here we go folks...it's Thursday and the 15th of June. Wow, this year is on fast forward.

This card could be used for that graduate that a lot of us have in our lives this time of year.

Here are the colours for us to create with..... one from the In Colours last time around, one from this time around and an old favourite.

Here is my sneak peek....

The card base is Very Vanilla, matted with Dapper Denim, then an art piece with the Gold to pop it up. I chose the " High Tide" Stamp Set for some images and the "You've Got This" one for the sentiments.

I really like "creating a scene" , in a good way I mean. LOL...and this set is perfect for that. I stamped the one image of the lighthouse in Dapper Denim and then stamped with the other in Tranquil Tide.

I fussy cut the lighthouse and adhered to the water and sand . After that I stamped some of the reeds and more of the sand before adding the ribbon and metallic thread.

A few enamel dots in the Denim colour and a few in the gold metallic. Now inside we go......

Another lighthouse , this time just in Tranquil Tide and the sentiment layered to finish.

Swirly Scribbles for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

It's Thursday!!

Sorry to have missed last week. I was away but back to reality now.

Todays card is a sketch share and I put some of the new In Color goodies to work. I am loving the Lemon Lime Twist, I even bought an umbrella for my deck in that color, lol. So here we go folks....

Here is the sketch for today...

The DSP is from the Eastern Palace, so easy to coordinate with this beautiful paper. The card base is Whisper White and then a mat of the Lemon Lime Twist. On that I placed some Emerald Envy and then started to place the embellishments, the swirls, burlap ribbon and the sentiment.

The sentiment is from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. So much to play with here and it comes in a fabulous bundle that has some great thinlits. I will post the links at the end of my blog today.

Next we can see inside and I added more from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits , so happy this was carried over to the new catalogue.

And here is the sentiment and "scribble" inside.

This card could be used for many different occasions or a just because... love these words.
