Wow...it has been hot here!!!
The province is dealing with so many forest fires. I feel so lucky to be here on the island but we too are experiencing the haze from the smoke. The sun this morning was very eerie.... Prayers to all of those affected and I hope we get some rain soon.
This heat has kept me in doors so what to do.....oh I know cards and stamping. Early A.M. walks to get the juices flowing and Shadow happy, then upstairs to the air and my studio.
Here is the sketch for this week........
Kinda cool "netting" behind the front piece so I used some burlap ribbon cut in pieces and then away I went. I needed a card for a grandson's birthday and I think Daniel will like this one.
Out came one of my favourite stamp sets, High Tide and I began the process. Crumb Cake, Island Indigo for the base and then onto the art piece to set the scene.
Lots of techniques used here ...sponging the sky, double stamping the lighthouse, ripping the sentiment piece, and layering the grasses.
And I did put another lighthouse inside.....
........ but left enough room for writing my own message.
If you don't have this stamp set, I am just saying, it is fabulous.
I hope you have fun in the hop today.....these ladies always inspire me......

Your card is very pretty but the blog came through in a foreign language or foreign font...very weird.
