Happy Thursday to all !!
We have a sketch today and as I do not have any of the wonderful "label" thinlits I went a little outside of the box. I hope you like my take for today's card......
Here is the blueprint....
And away we go.
Hard to believe but this DSP was just OPENED for this card. I know, what was I waiting for, it is so pretty, and almost gone. I am going to get busy and make it fly around my studio!!!! The beautiful Sweet Soiree in the Occasion catalogue, page 13. Only here til May 31st folks so let me know that you HAVE to own it.
So I used the Stitched Shapes oval to become my "label" ...... and then drew some of the colours from the DSP to add the ribbon and the silver accents. Fresh Fig and Powder Pink and the "Happy" in the silver.
Now you can see a bit of the inside, this paper really lends itself to fussy cutting so away I went. Also the sentiment was easily made into two separate words with the swing of the scissors.
Now off to the rest of the hop...have fun and I hope we have inspired you to play along with us.
Have a wonderful day.....
This button goes right to Mary....
