Welcome to the Hop!!! I hope you had a wonderful Easter with family and friends and the weather was mild.
Today we have colours to play with and here they are.....
I pulled out a few stamp sets and decided to use the Butterfly Basics it has a very has a very pretty flower. I think forget-me-nots are this shade of blue so I coloured with my ink refills and the aqua painters.
On the skinny stems I used the watercolour pencils to fill in.
The card base is Old Olive, matted with Marina Mist. For the art piece I did use some watercolor paper, helps with the effect.
This sentiment is from Rose Garden, I layered it onto a Marina circle from the Stitched shapes thinlits.
Then I added a few pearls and went inside to finish up. I stamped the flower on the bottom right corner, leaving room for a personal note. This I also watercoloured with my reinkers on the ink pad.
Now off to the rest of the hop.... have fun.
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here

Love your card and I love this stamp set. The colors are so good. Hope it doesn't get put on the retired list if so I will just have to keep using because it is one of my favorite.
