Hello my friends and we have special treat for you today. We are combining our Hop with a few more wonderful people.
Also we have the option to use the colours or combine with a sketch that Sandi MacIver has added.
I chose to do both so away we go......
The sketch.....
And the colours.....
Here is my card for today, I hope you like it.
I started with a card base in Crumb Cake and onto that I matted a piece of Night of Navy that I ran through the Garden Trellis Embossing folder. Before adding the DSP I added the Burlap Ribbon....sort a Crumb Cake colour I think.
Then came the wonderful flowers from the Share What You Love Specialty DSP .....so many beautiful pieces to create with, I know you are going to love it as much as I do and some of the flowers are Tranquil Tide in hue.
Now the Tranquil Tide is almost a teal colour so I decided to make a card with a ribbon for two women I know that are battling Ovarian Cancer. They are definitely the most courageous people I know and they really live each day to it's fullest. So inside I added another sentiment that comes from the set Ribbons of Courage.
...and the full on inside.
Now away to the rest of the hop, and welcome to Sandi MacIver ( you all will remember her...our esteemed Yoda ) , Kathie Zaban and Eva Dobilas. I look forward to hopping along with you all and soaking up great ideas from you all.
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here
Beautiful card Shelagh. I love how it turned it! I keep eyeing that burlap ribbon...I'll have to add that in my next order!

Night of Navy and Tranquil Tide are so beautiful together. I have not gotten this set set but hope to soon. I will be making several in purple for my friends with fibromyalgia. Your card is truly lovely. Thanks for sharing.
