Happy Thursday to all !!
We have a sketch today and I am always excited to see how everyone interprets . I used the oval shape as a tree. Hmmm, really. Let's look at the blueprint first, here it is.
Here is my tree, from the fabulous set "Rooted in Nature".
I already know that I will be putting this set to lots of use, and it comes in a great bundle with framelits. ( find it on page 143 of the new catalogue ). What's not to love.
Sixteen stamps and twelve dies.....wow so much to play with and create.
I chose to sponge with crumb cake all the edges to achieve a subtle hue.
Tranquil Tide is the first mat and then a bit of Mint Macaron. The piece of Very Vanilla was slid across the stamp pad, ( thanks Mary for the idea ) Things we forget about. Then I began to add the leaves here and there....
Then the sentiment and a few pearls and jewels. The inside has another sentiment from this set, and a few more leaves.
I will put all the links for the products I used today at the end of my post. Now have fun and thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate your comments.
We have Julie back with us!!! Yah!
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here

Cheers from.....
Beautiful card, Shelagh! I actually thought about using that same tree for the oval, then, obviously, I didn't. Great colors too.
