Beautiful Blizzard for Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday to all and oh my, August is pretty well done.

Sorry I missed last week, was way behind on everything and boy was it hot.

So here we go ...... a sketch to play with today.

I was so happy to receive my preorder from the new Holiday Catalogue , that I inked up the wonderful Beautiful Blizzard set and ran the Thinlits Dies through Mr. Big.

Here is my share for today.

The card base is Whisper White and then I matted a piece of Basic Gray. For the sides I used a bit of Silver Glimmer Paper and ran that through the big shot with a die from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits.

The snowflakes themselves are the "pop outs" from the new Blizzard Thinlits Die. When you use this die , you can almost emboss, depending on your machine and I used the Die Brush to remove the snowflakes.

The Pool Party mat I stamped with the snowflake images from the Beautiful Blizzards stamp set.

Then I went inside.....

More stamped snowflakes and the sentiment, to finish things off. And because I had some pieces left over I decided to make a 3 x 3 card and a small tag. Here they are.....
