So here we go my friends.
I had a few ideas rolling around in my head for today's challenge but decided to play with sponges and daubers.
Here is the sketch...
The perfect sketch to ink in a circle. Pretty easy card and really out of the box for a Christmas one. What do you think????
Whisper White followed by some Soft Sea Foam, then another mat of Tranquil Tide. The "circle " is a 2-1/2 inch punch of scrap, laid on a piece of Whisper White. Then I "Daubed and Sponged" with Tranquil Tide and Mango Melody.
The sentiment (from Stylish Christmas ) was stamped onto another circle , ( 1-3/4" ) and the edges sponged with the Mango Melody.
I added a few small stars from Stylish Christmas to break up the white. Then a ribbon of Tranquil tide and a tied knot.
Now check out inside.....love the effect of the sponging on the circle again, just a smaller one this time.
This sentiment is from the Star of Light stamp set and finishes this well.
I hope you try this technique out...so easy and lots of pop for a great effect.
Now off you go....
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here
Cheers from.....

It doesn't say 'Christmas' to me, but then I live where there is snow for Christmas. Usually. Lovely card though.
