Happy Thursday all!
We have a colour or should I say a basic colour challenge today...What fun , here we go.
I wanted to put the new set Sailing Home to use so I used the lighthouse as my focal point.
I sponged the clouds with the Basic gray to show a storm is brewing , then stamped the lighthouse in Basic Black. The sail boats behind are stamped off in the Gray as well. Under the lighthouse I sponged more to show a stormy sea. A few lines with a marker in the Gray again and then I popped this art piece onto a piece of Basic Gray.
I tied a bit of Bakers's Twine around and placed a silver wheel with glue dots.
Inside I stamped a few sail boats to break up the White, some in Black and some in the Gray.
Here we see the sentiment layered onto a bit of Basic Black,
Now away you sail.... have fun.
Shelagh Freemantle - you are here
Cheers from....
Oh my Sheila this card is inspirational. I love how you've taken the three neutrals and created such a brooding piece of art work. It can be interpreted in many many ways.

This is beautiful. What a great "different" take on this type of stamp.

Very cool card Shelagh! It looks like a foggy day on the water to me. Great way to use those colors! :)
